Elementary and middle school students from Imagine Chancellor in Boynton Beach, FL found themselves serving as Santa’s elves this holiday season. More than 1,000 students collected more than 700 toys for students at Imagine North Lauderdale, a sister school in North Lauderdale serving more than 650 K-6 students.
Students at Imagine West Melbourne in Florida recently had the opportunity to be educated in financial literacy and money management by local Community Credit Union volunteers, through their partnership with Junior Achievement of the Space Coast.
Early on a warm Saturday morning in Phoenix, more than 300 parents and volunteers from Foresters, an international finance firm, and KaBoom! gathered at Imagine Desert West. Equipped with an array of tools and lots of enthusiasm, they set out to build a playground for more than 1,000 K-8 students who attend this urban school. In less than eight hours, the volunteers completed the play space, which will serve more than 300,000 children and their families for years to come.
Imagine’s senior leadership team and regional directors recently gathered in Columbus, OH for two days of intensive professional development and collaboration. The gathering included 10 workshops on subjects ranging from mentoring, coaching, and supporting school leaders to deepening Imagine’s Academic Excellence Framework and Literacy Focuses and instructional strategies.
Imagine South Lake in Clermont, FL recently welcomed former student Jodi Campbell back to the campus. Campbell is the current National American Miss Florida and a college student at Stetson University, studying Molecular Biology.
Imagine Schools is pleased to announce the Arizona Charter Schools Association (the Association), the largest charter support organization in Arizona, has named Imagine School at Camelback teacher Katelyn “Kate” Toci the 2015 Charter Teacher of the Year. Toci, an elementary teacher at this non-profit K-8 charter school serving 650 students in central Phoenix, is one of six exemplary educators recognized by the Association.
