The end of the 2022-2023 school year provides another opportunity to look back and reflect on our character development journey so far. We are so proud and grateful for the dedication and passion of all school teams in sustaining the hard work of “developing character, enriching minds.” We salute all Imagine educators and staff throughout our regions for their commitment to this important work!
We strongly believe that all Imagine schools are on a continuum towards demonstrating and exemplifying what a school of character looks like and feels like. Each year provides an opportunity for schools to further deepen their efforts as part of their continuous improvement cycle in character development.
Being recognized by Character.org, an expert organization dedicated to promoting character for the past 20 years, adds to our sense of pride and affirms we are on the right path. For this reason, we want to take time to celebrate the schools that have been recognized by Character.org this past year.
Imagine East Mesa (AZ), Imagine Great Western (OH), and Imagine Bella (OH) were re-certified this year as 2023 State Schools of Character. Congratulations to all three schools!
We are also excited to announce that 26 Imagine Schools were recognized with a total of 41 Promising Practices by Character.org. Below is a list of the 26 Imagine schools that were recognized and the number of Promising Practices they each received in parenthesis. Some of our campuses were recognized with multiple Promising Practices!
Since 2010, the total count of Promising Practices received by schools and Imagine Schools as a district is currently 382!
