Collaboration was central to two days of intensive professional learning for Imagine’s leadership team at a recent professional learning gathering.

Imagine’s senior leadership team and regional directors recently gathered in Columbus, OH for two days of intensive professional development and collaboration. The gathering included 10 workshops on subjects ranging from mentoring, coaching, and supporting school leaders to deepening Imagine’s Academic Excellence Framework and Literacy Focuses and instructional strategies.

Dr. Nancy Hall, Chief Academic Officer for Imagine Schools, describes the importance of establishing strong professional learning communities, stating, “It’s important for educators at all levels of Imagine Schools to engage in meaningful learning and professional growth. We set high expectations for our students in owning and acquiring their learning within our campuses. Our leadership must model this expectation by furthering our own mastery of educational best practices.”

This annual fall gathering of leadership is a pre-cursor to Imagine’s annual Leadership Summit in Orlando, FL, February 10-12, 2016. This gathering will include senior leadership as well as principals and regional academic coaches. Imagine educators should save the date and be watching emails for further information.

Imagine Schools is a national non-profit network of pre-K-12 charter schools preparing students for lives of leadership, accomplishment and exemplary character.
