Seven Imagine Schools Campuses Earn High-Performing Designation from the State of Florida

Seven Imagine Schools campuses were recently named high-performing schools by the State of Florida. This designation recognizes the high quality educational environment for students and families provided at these Imagine Schools campuses. It brings attention to the academic rigor and improved student outcomes at these public charter schools.

A charter school obtains high-performing status if the school received two school grades of “A” and no grade below “B” during the previous three school years. Additional criteria for high-performing schools are available on the Florida Senate’s website.

The designation brings attention to the new Academic Excellence Framework implemented by Imagine Schools. This Framework was developed and based upon a study of high performing and highly effective Imagine campuses. It contains strategies and nationally recognized best practices to strengthen student performance and create a culture of high expectations.

Under the state’s guidelines, the high-performing designation will allow Imagine Schools to increase campus enrollment, expand grade levels, and operate under a fifteen-year charter status. Families wanting to attend these high-performing public charter schools now have the ability to submit enrollment applications.

Imagine Schools operates eighteen public charter school campuses throughout Florida. The campuses that received high-performing status are Imagine Broward, Imagine Land O’Lakes, Imagine North Port, Imagine Palmer Ranch, Imagine South Lake, Imagine South Vero, and Imagine Weston.
